Third Time Lucky

After two pandemic related cancellations and more than a 2 year wait, I’m over the moon that on the 15th and 16th of March, we were finally able to resume staging the bi-annual TheDomDom’s student concerts:
An opportunity for my drummers to hone their focus and performance skills in front of their nearest and dearest.
And an opportunity for their nearest and dearest to enjoy their progress (and a few drinks).
A big thank you and congratulations to all TheDomDom drummers who performed across the 2 nights. I salute your hard work in the run up and your courage and focus on the night. Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for:

Hard really to put into words, but a massive massive thank you for such a night! So incredible for Tom to have this experience and such a pleasure to see him play like he did tonight. Watching everyone drum and celebrating together was just incredible. Thank you so much.
We really are so grateful for the positive encouragement and confidence you continue to instil in Tom. His love of drumming defiantly comes from his very talented and inspiring teacher!

Hi Dom
I just wanted to write and say thank you for arranging the concert tonight. After all the nerves sam had a great time and really enjoyed seeing the other students playing to. He said it was good to see how other kids play and is inspired to learn how to spin his drum sticks after seeing James do it throughout his set. I didn’t realize quite how important it is for kids to see other kids playing this instruments to.My parents were also very impressed with how much Sam had learnt. My family are very musical but Sam is the 1st drummer so I think it surprised them! Thank you for all your effort. It is much appreciated.

Re last night’s 2022 Spring Term Concert: this is my third one, and (scarily for me) the drummers keep getting better. More poised, more polished and dare I say it, more professional. Testament to Dom’s teaching and the players’ commitment.
